Information for members

Rehearsals are held on Wednesdays from 19.30 to 21.30 at Hordle Memorial Hall (Hordle Lane, Hordle, Lymington, SO4 0FB).

12th JULY 2025 CONCERT INFORMATION

Venue:   ST THOMAS’ CHURCH   LYMINGTON

 

Concert Time: 7.00 pm

 

Rehearsal: To start at 1.00 pm in Church

 

Rehearsal order:  Symphony 3rd Movement , then the rest of Symphony  then the others

​

What to bring: Music Stand      Music      Stand light if wish      Snack if you wish

 

Dress Code: Ladies: Black      Gentlemen:  Black – no jackets

 

 

Parking in Lymington: Saturdays can be very busy because of the Market and the car parks can be full so please allow plenty of time.

 

St Thomas St (behind Marks and Spencer) :   

NB  please be careful that you do not park in the M & S part where there is a vigilant warden hoping to collect fines from the unwary!  

 

Park in the Council part of the car park as Clocks and Tickets from the council machine are only valid in that part. There is a long-stay section at the further end but the short-stay part has a limit of 3 hours. 

 

Emsworth Rd:   This has some Long Stay spaces

Barfields 

 

There is also free street parking in the roads off Church Lane

 

After rehearsal; Please note that as we are this time using the Servery in the Church to serve the Interval refreshments, the rooms off the hall that we have previously used as Changing Rooms may not be available.  There are Cloakrooms but the space in them is limited so you may want to take that into consideration in choosing what to wear earlier at the rehearsal. 

There is an M & S nearby and a Wetherspoons next door.
